After completing Expand Network’s Discipleship Journey last year, Richard and some other men at Generations Church have been meeting regularly to focus on different spiritual disciplines – prayer, fasting, spending time in the Bible, and more. As a result, their conversations at work have become saturated with the Gospel.
After a few months of this, one of his coworkers – who was not a Christian – made the decision to come to church. He sat a few rows behind Richard, and seemed surprisingly engaged. After the service, he came up to Richard and – with tears in his eyes, asked, “Do you have a Bible for me? And how do I get baptized?”
Since that Sunday, Richard has been showing his coworker more of the Bible. He sends him scripture to look over, and has had several conversations with him about Jesus. And, this month, his coworker will be baptized. He says he’s found God again, as well as a family.
This is the ripple effect of someone hearing and responding to God’s voice, discipling others even when it takes time. Thanks to your support, Expand Network is able to lift up churches like Generations Church and provide workshops that train Christians to share the Gospel boldly.
