Pete and Kristy Ziolkowski, along with their three children (ages 15, 12, and 12), have a strong sense of purpose—“be present with people in the city of Portland.” After devoting the past two years to a period of restoration, repentance, and recalibration, the Ziolkowski family feels a profound calling from the Holy Spirit to reengage in intentional ministry.
Pete and Kristy share a deep concern for those who are hurting. Motivated by their love for Jesus Christ and profound compassion for the residents of Portland, they express, “We believe that God loves Portland and is committed to seeing the city thrive.”
Guided by the principles of Isaiah 61, Pete and Kristy are dedicated to simply being present with the people of Portland, actively participating in the work God is already doing, and witnessing the unfolding of God’s Kingdom through serving others.
Simultaneously, they will nurture relationships with community partners, immerse themselves in the diverse cultures of various Portland neighborhoods, and diligently discern God’s will. Overall, Pete and Kristy’s approach integrates humility, adaptability, and spiritual commitment, positioning them to make a positive impact on Portland and contribute to its thriving community.
